Welcome to Green Venture's Waste Website!
We live by the Three R’s
Reduce
This is first for a reason. We must always think before buying items and reduce the amount of waste we needlessly purchase. This can also be called Precycling, or some people refer to this first step as Refuse!
Reuse Everything
...and then Recycle
If you have no other options, then please recycle or use your Green Cart.
About 90-95% of the waste you create can go into Blue Boxes, or the Green Cart. You can reduce your waste by properly sorting your waste and putting it in the right place; this keeps it out of the landfill.

Davis Creek Clean-up 2012 report
Green Venture partnered with the City of Hamilton in October 2012 to help improve our local neighbourhood. As part of My Green Adventures, Green Venture staff and volunteers organized a creek clean-up of the Davis Creek. The waste was then analysed and a report produced. Click here for more information.
